The Not Jumpsuit

I love a great jumpsuit, but I couldn’t resist a cropped top and pants combination given the ease of wearing it. So, since I found this one, I have been looking for other sets that could be mistaken for a jumpsuit.

I also love a choker with this type of neckline; I just feel it pulls the whole outfit together. I’ve highlighted a few below that would be perfect for this style

I find if I put the right separates together I can create the jumpsuit effect but still have the ease of the separate pieces. I particularly like the sleeveless peplum; this style is very forgiving and will completely camouflage where the waistline of the pants actually is. I have a couple of pieces I have listed below and there are several others that I think would work great.

In the spring and summer I think we all love a great wedge or platform but I also love kitten heels! There are so many great styles in the stores right now. I’ve highlighted a few of my favorites but there are so many more to choose from:)

My favorite type of bag these days is a small to midsize crossbody. The one in this picture was an indulgence on our last trip to London and holds more than it appears to. I attached quite a few others that have so much personality I couldn’t resist.

  1. I love the idea of a jumpsuit but they can be difficult to get in and out of. I really like how you’ve suggested a matching top and bottom to give the same illusion.

    1. Thank you Phyllis and I agree, so when I find matching, I always feel lucky👍🏻

  2. Oh wow! I love these looks! I like the look of a jumpsuit but would never buy one because, well… its not convenient. But this idea in your post gives you the best of both worlds! And I love the necklace you chose with yours!
