A spring or summer breeze always justifies the beautiful fashions that automatically come out at this time of year.
Maybe it’s the natural beauty you find all around you that’s part of the attraction, but for me these colors add to the summer vibes and create some of their own.
My personal favorite – anything that is turquoise and coral. These colors together remind me of the sea and the ocean, a day at the beach, a walk on the boardwalk or a chair by the lake.
I also find, whether you have a healthy tan or not, your skin absolutely glows in this color combination – a great alternative to wearing white or even accenting white.
This off-the-shoulder top by Du Jour in hot coral pairs perfectly with white jeans. Also, leave plenty of room for a turquoise necklace and/or earrings. Also have to mention these great ankle strap shoes, part of the new collection from Earth shoes.
Love the color of this high-low duster and the versatility of it. Very easy to wear on its own or layered.
I have to give an honorable mention to this dress I purchased recently. Although not true turquoise, it definitely fits into my favorite colors and I love this style.. Fast becoming one of my favorite designers, this is from the Attitudes by Renée collection on QVC.
I love these dresses which are part of the Lisa Rinna collection. This is one of the easiest dresses in my wardrobe to wear. It has a slight cowl neck, which for me is a perfect neckline. It drapes perfectly and I have worn it with wedge heels or flip-flops.
There are so many ways to wear these colors either as your main outfit or just an accent. Either way, the outfit will pop.
As an added extra, my son recently went to his Jr Prom and his date wanted a coral colored corsage which she matched with a very pretty boutonnière. Needless to say, they looked amazing and loved their color choice:)
I have included below a few of my favorites, all under $100 from shoes to bags, jewelry, house items and clothes.
What’s your color crush this time of year?
